The Las Americas ASPIRA Academy renovation project will complete the transformation of a former warehouse into a K-8 totaling 800 students and 125,000 s.f. institution using 21 st Century Learning concepts. Phasing was critical to the success of the project with classrooms still being used while construction was ongoing. Homerooms and Core Subjects were grouped accordingly to provide convenient access for each grade. Common amenities such as the administrative suite, media center, gymnasium, and multipurpose cafeteria and auditorium are configured to allow public access while maintaining security for other areas.
